We tend to think of childhood trauma as only the big things, but if you’re highly sensitive or an empath and your emotional and psychological needs weren’t met (or you experienced “general family dysfunction"), those are traumas too... and they wreak just as much havoc on our lives as the big things (they’re just harder to spot).
